OSPREY INTERPRETIVE EXHIBIT

Moraine Hills State Park, IL

After returning this area of the park to its native oak savanna, the park constructed several artificial nesting platforms to attract Ospreys. This exhibit showcases these magnificent raptors, the history of the land, and the parks ongoing restoration efforts.

"THE ROCK"

Starved Rock State Park, Oglesby, IL

We partnered with Starved Rock State Park to design interpretive exhibits. These exhibits reach 2,000,000 visitors each year and share the legend of Starved Rock, the Illinois waterway, how the park was built, its habitats and much more.

Five panels, including the two pictured above, were installed atop a wooden walkway surrounding the perimeter of Starved Rock and overlooking the Illinois river. The park is well known for its Bald eagle population, especially in the winter months, where they can be seen soaring overhead looking for food by the dam, or perched nearby.

RAIN GARDEN INTERPRETIVE EXHIBIT

Museum of Transportation, St. Louis, MO

Naturalist, April Anderson, discovered an opportunity on the museum's grounds to restore a drainage ditch full of weeds into a beautiful rain garden with native plants. Native plants require little to no care, help control erosion, and offer plenty of food for migrating birds, butterflies and other pollinators.

ANTI-GRAFFITI EXHIBIT AND CAMPAIGN

Grand Escalante Staircase National Monument, UT

As part of the park's effort to raise awareness for local communities and park visitors to respect and protect the petroglyphs, arrowheads, and pottery sherds of ancient Indian tribes found here, six portable exhibits were placed on Main Street. Stickers, restaurant placemats and bookmarks were also designed as giveaways.
